BUCKINGHAMSHIRE WEDDING FAIRS SPRING 2017

Once again it's time for me to exhibit my portfolio at this year's wedding fairs.  These are probably some of the very best local shows to attend if you're planning your special day for 2018/19. All of the shows are held inside these beautiful historic 4/5 star venues, with free admission. You'll get the chance to meet between 30-60 local suppliers at each event, and of course I'll be showcasing my work too.

My Saturdays are now about 60% booked up for next summer, and by the end of the wedding shows in March I'm usually 85% booked for the Saturdays. As of this year, I'm now only taking 55-60 wedding bookings per year, for 2017 my diary was to full capacity by June - don't leave your enquiry too long!

All of the wedding shows I attend are with venues that recommend me as one of their preferred wedding photographers.

January 7th (Sun) - Missenden Abbey, Great Missenden, Bucks 11am -3pm

February 25th (Sun) - Taplow House, Nr. Maidenhead, Bucks   11am - 3pm

March 4th (Sun) - The Dairy, Waddesdon, Bucks 10am -3pm

March 18th (Sun) - Hampden House, Great Missenden, Bucks  11am - 3pm

I hope to meet you at one of the shows!

Mark

PS....Here are a few images from some recent weddings that I've attended over the summer at these venues.

HEDSOR HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Carmel and Harry chose the wonderful Hedsor House for their autumn wedding.  This gorgeous Georgian Manor House is amazing, and for their wedding to be on a perfect blue skied day was an added bonus!  The journey along the sweeping driveway up to the main house is pretty special, meandering through the scenic woodland areas, past the resident highland cows, and then the real treat is when the main house comes into view across the manicured lawns. No doubt this is part of the reason that so many Hollywood studios have chosen Hedsor House as their perfect film set.

This was a great wedding to attend - the attention to detail throughout was so evident, from Carmel's stunning dress to the fabulous flowers, the vibrant autumnal colour scheme, the amazing band, and the striking uplighters they arranged to illuminate the Centre Hall with its dramatic glass domed ceiling; the overall effect was an absolute wow!

Carmel and Harry were so relaxed and calm - they just took everything in their stride, and really loved every minute of their special day.  The non-stop smiles and laughter in my pictures are as natural as can be, and this made for many great picture opportunities!  I could sense that not only are they madly in love, but they are really close to their immediate family and friends - this connection came through in their wedding pictures throughout the course of the day.

I stayed through until the evening to capture some of my signature floodlit images, plus lots of the dancing.  My favourite images from the day were taken just before sundown of the couple with their attendants in the golden autumnal light, then just before we all went indoors to warm up we were spoilt with the most wonderful sunset picture opportunity of Harry and Carmel in silhouette against the venue's striking 200-year-old cedar tree.

Here are the kind words I received from Carmel and Harry:

Dear Mark,

Thank you so much for photographing our wedding.  Everyone kept commenting on how hard you were working.  We are so appreciative - thank you!  We absolutely love our photographs.

We wanted to say a massive thank you for the fantastic job you did photographing our wedding.  We both felt all the pictures were taken swiftly and in good time, however there were no compromises on quality or organisation of the staged photos.

Your professionalism and generosity of your time on the day was noticed and complimented on by many of our guests.

We loved the fact that you were able to show us a selection of photos just days after our wedding and they are fantastic.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone planning a wedding.

Many thanks again,
The new Mr & Mrs Rush

Enjoy your week!
Mark
