I felt very privileged to be to be asked to capture Caroline and Ian's gorgeous wedding celebrations at Taplow House Hotel, I've now attend over 250 weddings at this wonderful intimate venue, and I so enjoy working at this fabulous Georgian retreat! My association with Taplow goes back twenty years now, so it has a place close to my heart after all this time!

Despite a lack of sunshine, I had a brilliant time photographing this fun filled wedding. Caroline and Ian had such warm kind personalities, and their guests were great fun too!

The highlight for me was when a somewhat dirty loud mouthed chimney sweep burst into the room just as the wedding breakfast was starting, David their toastmaster had little success in demanding that he left the room immediately (albeit David was in on the act too), and the look on Caroline and Ian's faces was a picture itself! It turns out that the family had arranged this surprise for the newlyweds, and we discovered that he was a very talented magician, as for the next few hours he weaved his magic tricks around the room to the delight of the guests.

Congratulations again to Caroline and Ian, I wish you both the most amazing and fun filled marriage!

Here is the very kind feedback I received from Caroline and Ian:

Dear Mark,

Caroline and I would like to extend our warmest thanks for the superb job you made of our wedding photography on 11th June this year.

It really was a perfect day with everything going as we had dreamed and to have you there, with your professional eye capturing all the moments, smiles and joy in addition to the more formally posed photos has given us memories we can treasure forever.

Even the British weather wasn't a challenge for you, being prepared for everything and patient to ensure photo shoots were timed throughout the day to get the best of outdoor conditions.

Many of our guests commented on how polite and professional you were.  It does give people encouragement to know such an important event is in safe hands and we felt that way from our first meeting at Taplow Wedding Fayre, through subsequent calls and meetings and through the day itself.  Your knowledge of Taplow House and its nooks and crannies really shines through.

The photos look absolutely superb and the biggest challenge now will be choosing which we like the most!

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ian and Caroline

Enjoy your week!

Sophie and Andrew's Eynsham Hall wedding was a small, intimate affair with their closest family and friends.  This made for a most relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable day in the stately surroundings of this beautiful building.  With so many smiles and lots of laughter on the day, this wedding was an absolute pleasure to capture. Sophie and Andrew were so charming to work with too, and unbelievably appreciative too.

The colour scheme was so vibrant, and this especially carried through for the long dining table decorated with beautiful richly coloured flowers and decorations, not to mention their amazingly funky wedding car!

Here is the lovely thank-you email I received from Andrew and Sophie,

Mark we just cannot thank you enough, your work is truly breathtaking.  You are so incredibly talented you literally captured every single detail of our wedding day in the most remarkable way.

All the moments we couldn't possibly have seen or necessarily remembered - you caught on camera, working tirelessly to ensure absolutely nothing was missed!  For this, we are eternally grateful.

Every time we look at our beautiful gallery, we relive the day, in particular our confetti shots!  The sheer love and joy of the day.  Now that, to me, is incredible, how someone can capture such raw emotion.

Mark your ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and your energy and passion really comes across in the photos.  You were able to blend in so well with our guests and you provided first class service from the moment we made contact.

Thank you for truly capturing the essence of our day and for providing us with so many wonderful memories.

Andrew & Sophie

Enjoy your week!
