Sonia and Robin's wedding took place on a glorious sunny day at Hampden Church and Hampden House in rural Buckinghamshire.

Following an incredibly emotional ceremony at Hampden Church, the party continued next door at the magical Hampden House. I've photographed many weddings at this enchanting manor house, and I adore working in this exceptionally beautiful venue. Hampden House is a treat to the eye, everywhere you look are unbelievably beautiful interiors and gardens. On a glorious summer's day, I just love how the sunlight dapples through the leaded windows across the layers of history that date back 650 years!

The whole day was full of smiles, laughter and fun: Sonia and Robin's family and friends certainly knew how to enjoy themselves. I so admired their vibrant colour scheme, the table decorations, flowers, and all the other details that went into their special day!

Thanks so much to Sue, Alex, Ailsa and the team of Hampden House for making this day truly unforgettable; and for recommending me for the past 12 years.

If you're getting married in 2016/17, you might want to attend the next Hampden House Wedding Open Day on Sunday 28th February 2016, you'll also be able to see the brand new album that I'm preparing which includes my most recent pictures from the venue.

Here is the lovely feedback I received from Sonia and Robin:

Dear Mark,

Thank you so much for your amazing work on our wedding on the 4th July at Hampden House. The results are fabulous, and so many of our guests have commented that the photographs are some of the best they have ever seen. We felt totally relaxed in the hands of such a professional, and despite you suffering a horsefly bite and your hand swelling dramatically, you carried on stoically.

We could not be more pleased with the wonderful memories you have captured for us so beautifully.

Thank you and best wishes, Sonia & Robin

Here are some pictures from their beautiful sunny day.

Enjoy your week!
