Lucy and Rod's wedding had all of the magical ingredients for an amazing March Buckinghamshire day, including perfect blue skies!  The day started out with the wedding guests in high spirits after arriving on a classic London Routemaster bus at St.Mary's Church in Beaconsfield. Lucy's and Rod's daughters were the charming flowergirls for the day, and they were so excited and thrilled to see their mum stepping out of the car with her brother at the church.  The light streaming through the stained glass windows of the church was stunning throughout their heartfelt ceremomy.

After the ceremony I captured a few formal group pictures and some fun shots in the church grounds, and then the guests boarded the wedding bus and set off for the reception at the Kings Chapel in Old Amersham.

I stayed throughout the day, capturing the events as they unfolded.  Everything was so perfect about this wedding, from Lucy's dress to her flowers, the reception decor, excellent speeches to the non stop warm spring sunlight!  Lucy and Rod's welcoming family and friends were also a joy to photograph!

Soon after the first dance and cake cutting I was finished for the day, and the added bonus is I had all of half a mile to travel home for a well earned nights sleep.

Enjoy your week!
