Sandra and Julian's Christmas wedding took place at Taplow House Hotel. I have always loved working at Taplow House, and Sandra and Julian's wedding was no exception.  I love the ambiance of this charming Georgian hotel, the beautiful decor in the rooms, wonderful gardens, and the kindness of the hotel staff. The fact they've been recommending me for over 15 years is a bonus!

Sandra opted for a gorgeous rich colour scheme for her wedding, the flowers, bridesmaids dresses and table centres, and the yummy looking chocolate cake added a stunning warm glow to this magical day. Somehow we were blessed with a fabulous dose of winter sunshine; in fact when we came outside from the civil ceremony the clouds parted just in time for the family group poses. Within ten minutes we'd finished the family pictures, the sun had vanished and everyone dashed back indoors to escape the chilly winter conditions for a glass of champagne.

On the day my camera was presented with a multitude of tears, big hugs, warm smiles, and so much love, how special is that! The emotion and the closeness between the bride and groom and their family and friends was magical, and it is these moments that I really cherish about my job - without them, a wedding day is nothing! My pictures are about documenting the story of the day.

Thank you Sandra and Julian for letting me into your lives for that day to tell your story. I'm not sure my blogs ever do justice to describing the wonderful weddings I attend; hopefully my pictures below tell the story so much better!

Enjoy your week!
