Louise and Mike chose the beautiful setting of  Micklefield Hall near Sarratt as their wedding venue, and they certainly made their special day a truly memorable experience for their family and friends. They asked guests to dress in vibrant colours and to be a little more casual than most weddings, and they also decided to do away with the idea of a formal wedding breakfast. They opted for a Mad Hatters style afternoon tea party; for most of us it doesn't get much better than eating scrumptious cakes all afternoon! The marquee was decked out with an amazing vintage theme for the tea party, with an eclectic mix of vintage frames, books and clocks hanging down from the ceiling of the marquee - the effect was superb! Mike looked the part in his purple top hat, the wedding hadn't started yet but I could sense this was going to be one amazing day! It's so nice to see a couple daring to be a little different with their wedding theme!

Louise and Mike's amazing lakeside wedding ceremony was so romantic.  Their emotional and heartfelt vows were exchanged in the waterside pavilion whilst their guests looked on from over the water. Louise looked beautiful and radiant throughout the day; Mike is a very lucky guy!

The dixieland jazz band and outdoor games went down a storm. A first for me was seeing the newlyweds doing their first dance outdoors: their Charleston routine was performed superbly to the beats from the live jazz band. Fortunately the weather was great for their outdoor games and first dance. The day was filled with laughter, lots of fun & many special memories, so hats off to Louise and Mike for making the day such a success - their attention to detail with every aspect of their wedding was incredible.

Louise and Mike were two of the loveliest and most appreciative people you could ever meet and it was my absolute pleasure to capture their storybook set of pictures, and to spend time with their wonderful group of friends and family. Thanks so much Louise and Mike for choosing me to be a part of your special day. I will never forget your wedding.

Here are just a few of my favourites from the day:

Enjoy your week!
