Tara & Harvey were married at the picturesque parish church in Great Missenden, followed by their reception at the stunning Missenden Abbey.

Tara had an amazing colour scheme for her wedding day. Every detail including the bridesmaids' dresses - classic American car - bouquets - table plan - room decor - vintage tea cups etc were in vivid and vibrant colours. As you can see from the kaleidoscope of colours below, Tara must have had so much fun planning her wedding day. I certainly enjoyed photographing this lovely colourful wedding; Tara and Harvey were great fun to work with.

One unique aspect I loved was Tara and Harvey's decision to have their pet dog act as the ring bearer during the church ceremony: this was a first for me after 1,200 weddings. Apparently the vicar is a dog lover too, so having this adorable little pooch coming to the front of the church at the appropriate moment was more than welcomed. This was a very magical moment, and something I'm sure Tara and Harvey's guests will remember for a very long time!

A big thank you to Missenden Abbey for recommending me for the last eight years.

Enjoy your week!

Lily & Terry's magical wedding took place at The Dairy in the village of Waddesdon in May. The rainy conditions didn't dampen the spirits of the newlyweds or their wedding guests, and with some friends and family flying in from around the globe, this was a truly international occasion.

Lily chose an exquisite full length ivory wedding gown, and complemented her gown with a lovely bouquet of all white gerberas and tulips. The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful full length pale green dresses, again carrying pretty white bouquets.

The canap├ęs and meal prepared by the chefs at the Dairy had a very distinct oriental twist, and I was lucky enough to receive the truly delicious duck main course for my meal.

During the day I'd been keeping an eye on the skies in the hope we might be able to venture outside at some point; then we struck gold!  The rains retreated for about 20 minutes, and it's amazing how many pictures can be captured during such a short period of time. No sooner than I'd completed the necessary group pictures and a few classic poses around the grounds, then the heavens opened again - phew!

After the wedding breakfast Lily & Terry were keen to venture up to the main manor house and the aviary on the Waddesdon estate, thankfully there were great under-cover areas so we could dodge the showers again! The results looked fabulous, I'm really thrilled with them.

Lily and Terry and their friends and family were absolute joy to photograph throughout the day - everyone was so friendly.

A big thank you to the staff at the Dairy for recommending me as always!

Also a big thank you to Lily & Terry for looking after me so well on the day, and for being so appreciative of all my hard work.

Enjoy your week!
