BEAUMONT ESTATE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

A few weeks ago I attended the wedding of Zippy & Henry at The Beaumont Estate in Windsor.

Zippy's friends brought a big splash of colour to the wedding with their vibrant outfits and amazing singing under the rare blue skies. From the moment I arrived in the bridal suite before the wedding, through to the walk down the staircase to the civil ceremony and out into the gardens for their photographs, everyone was treated to Zippy's bridesmaids and close girlfriends singing their hearts out with the most wonderful Kenyan celebration songs. I've never seen anything like it at a wedding!  All the staff at the venue were drawn to this amazing spectacle as they lined the corridors, and the groom and guests would have heard their voices filling the corridors  for 3-4 minutes before they reached the ceremony room.

The Beaumont Estate is a venue I'd never worked at before, it really is a photographers dream with lots of great backdrops for pictures opportunities, and the chapel where the wedding breakfast was served is truly spectacular with it's very high ceilings and stained glass windows.

I stayed to capture the entire day through till the dancing and to take some night shots of the venue. The wedding was an absolute joy to photograph, and Henry & Zippy, plus their family and friends were a pleasure to work with. This wedding was a referral from Henry's sister whose wedding I'd photographed a few years ago. I also recommended the videographer Barry Weare for their special day, as always the feedback on Barry's work is superb.

Here is the note I received from Henry's sister (wedding organiser): Oh WOW, the pictures are amazing! Zippy is speechless and that was when she had only viewed the first page, she said she couldn't wait for the rest to be ready. Once Henry had told her they are all there and all she needed to just to click the next page we haven't heard from her since!!! Many thanks for the amazing photos, Anneke

Within the next few weeks I'll add a Beaumont Estate photography gallery to my website with 100+ images.

Today, Saturday and Sunday I have three all day weddings, Missenden Abbey and two at Taplow House Hotel, come Monday I'll be ready to collapse from exhaustion! Sadly I don't have time to blog all the weddings and photo-shoots I attend, I will always endeavor to post one a week though.

I hope you like the pictures below.

Enjoy your week!

COMPLEAT ANGLER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Mel & Jeremy chose the lovely Thames riverside setting of the Compleat Angler in Marlow for their wedding day a few weeks ago. I'd not visited the venue for a couple of years so it was great to make a return visit.

Thankfully the rain stayed away until the evening and my journey home. The Compleat Angler has some excellent backdrops for pictures both indoors and outside beside the river. I only met Mel and Jeremy for the first time a week before their wedding at the talk through; like many couples they found me through an internet search. My instructions were to capture lots of reportage pictures, some classic shots around the venue, plus a few pictures of their romantic champagne river trip. They were a nice easy going couple and up for plenty of picture opportunities on the day.

Here are a few pictures from their wedding day:

Enjoy your week!

CHARTRIDGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Johanna and Jaime were married at Chesham Baptist Church a few weeks ago, which was heaven for me as I could walk from my Chesham studio. Their wedding reception was held at Chartridge just outside Chesham, with lovely gardens ablaze with azaleas and rhododendrons.

Chartridge have recommended me for the last 7 years, and this particular visit was really special for me as the gardens were just amazing for pictures.

The couple live in Chile so I didn't meet them before their wedding day; the internet really is a wonderful communication and business tool. They were so lucky to have a nice mild dry day, the last five weeks really have been quite miserable.

The bride was wearing one of the most stunning dresses I've seen in a very long time, a vintage inspired bespoke creation by Chesham bridal designer Clem Short. I was asked to capture a small number of group pictures and lots of reportage images of the day.

During the last week I've attended weddings at Northcote House and Taplow House, blogs to follow.

If you'd like to see my work I'm attending the Taplow House (Maidenhead) wedding show Thursday 21st June 5pm-9pm.  It will be a busy show with lots of bridal suppliers in attendance, I hope you can make it.

Here are a few of Johanna & Jaime's pictures.

Enjoy your week!
